When Melissa’s friend, Joleen, discovered she had stage 4 colon cancer, Joleen’s friends and family rallied around her to fundraise and raise awareness. Melissa designed the butterfly logo on both black and white backgrounds, and the “Team Joleen” design for t-shirts and sweatshirts. Melissa also set up a CafePress store to sell coaster tiles, posters, mugs, iPhone covers, notebook journals, and more, which helped raise funds for Joleen’s family.
